War to Peace Through Psychedelics

Season 1 Episode 11

When I started this podcast journey, I had a list of subjects I wanted to cover: Mental health, PTSD, drug and alcohol abuse.

I wanted to explore the possibilities of alternative cures which were more effective than those offered by our healthcare system and big pharma companies.

A few months ago, I was introduced to Keith Abraham; he served our country in the parachute regiment in Iraq and Afghanistan. With war came some harsh experiences that led to him suffering from PTSD, mental health, and alcohol abuse.

In this episode, Keith talks of his personal struggles and how a Shaman and psychedelic treatment saved his life and allowed him to be at peace, and with this new found freedom Keith is helping others through his charity Heroic Hearts Project UK

If you enjoyed Keith's story, then please head over to Heroic Hearts Project UK to check out the great work Keith and his team carry out. If you would like to help the cause, I'm sure they would welcome any donations to the charity to help other veterans, police or emergency workers to provide the treatment they need. Donate Here

As Keith explains, Dr Robin Carhart-Harris and Prof David Nutt still have a considerable debate on their hands despite the proof and scientific facts to get this legalised in the UK.

Let's educate ourselves and others and support them in their venture.

If you are considering looking at psychedelic treatment, Keith has kindly shared his contact details below, and will help and advise where we can.
