Self-invention is never over until we allow it to be. We can all be on the receiving end of some pretty impressive curveballs in life, some we never imagine or expect, and we can find ourselves a bit lost; it's the decisions we make at that moment that can change everything. In this podcast, I discuss areas of my life where I felt utterly lost which I'm sure some can relate to. I'll also be joined by some remarkable guests who will be baring all, discussing some of the most painful and challenging times in their lives, with a focus on how they kept going when everything seemed against them and how they've ended up very proud of where they are today. One of the most underrated secrets to any success is to start before you're ready. Today I'm going to tell you a story about how I had a couple of brilliant ideas back in 2013. Yet, I failed to start the one that scared me the most because there were doubters who told me I was bat shit crazy and that combined with self-doubt meant it was a non-starter.
I will talk to you about how not starting with an idea has fundamentally cost me millions, and to date, to be precise, the person who did start that company now turns over 474 million dollars and was one of Europe's fastest growing tech company's ever.
Yes. Ouch.. I'm also going to tell you how I found myself five years later, consulting with the company I wish I'd started.
